The reusing and reusing of materials, for example, the ones that you have drawn out into the open diminish contamination for our condition each day. We will compose a custom paper test on Reusing Letter or on the other hand any comparative theme just for you Request Now There is a slight issue, be that as it may, with the state wherein your materials will be given to us. Owl Recycling Company should initially isolate various substances from each other before sending them out to be reused. Since the four materials in your dump truck are ground into a fine powder, the Owl Recycling Company should do a technique other than what we regularly would use to isolate them. As you most likely are aware, the materials included aluminum soft drink jars, steel jars, milk containers, and soft drink bottles. We luckily have numerous helpful instruments in our industrial facility, for example, a transport line, an enormous tank loaded up with water, another tanks with sugar water, ground-breaking magnets, and nets to skim our tanks. I might want to propose to you our arrangement to isolate your recyclable powder blend. Because of the materials being on your property, we need your OK on our arrangement before we can start our reusing work. Our arrangement is as per the following: First of all, as the things are going down the transport line, the magnets hanging above with pull in the entirety of the steel items. With those off the beaten path, we will be left with the aluminum, the milk containers, and the soft drink bottles. The subsequent stage is placed the rest of the materials into the tank loaded up with sugar water. The sugar water has a thickness of 1. 5 g/cm^3, the soft drink bottles have a thickness of 1. g/cm^3, and the milk containers have a thickness of . 95 g/cm^3. This implies these things would glide and could be skimmed out by the nets. The staying material, the aluminum jars (with a thickness of 2. 7 g/cm^3), would be abandoned at the base since they are more thick than the sugar water. The skimmed out materials would then be put into the tank loaded up with ordinary water. The thi ckness of water is 1 g. cm^3. The soft drink containers would sink and the milk containers would coast and have the option to be skimmed out by the nets. After these means, every one of the four materials would be effectively isolated. The thickness of these items are a crucial job in the partition of these materials. On the off chance that an article or molecule is more thick than the fluid it is put in the thing will sink, while if the article is less thick the thing will coast. This is the means by which the water and the sugar water can help separate the materials staying after the utilization of the magnets. They impair a persons ability to function at home, school, and/or work. Hypomanic Episodes During a hypomanic episode, the symptoms of mania only need to last four days in a row. The symptoms do not impair everyday functioning like they do in a manic episode, and they are not severe enough to necessitate hospitalization. Major Depressive Episodes A major depressive episode must last at least two weeks and is characterized by either a severe sadness or feeling of hopelessness and/or a loss of interest or pleasure in activities that the person once enjoyed. Other symptoms that may occur in a major depressive episode include: Feeling guiltySleeping problems, like too much or too littleFeeling agitated or alternatively, feeling slowed downEating more or lessFatigue and loss of energyDifficulty concentratingThinking of death or suicide Mixed Episodes In the DSM-5, the term mixed episode was changed to mixed features. Mixed features mean that a person may either be experiencing a manic episode with at least symptoms of depression or on the contrary, a major depressive episode with at least three symptoms of mania. Basically, a person is having both symptoms of mania and depression at the same time. If a person if simultaneously having both a manic and depressive episode, the diagnosis is technically categorized as manic episode with mixed features. People with depression and mixed features are at particularly high risk for developing substance abuse disorders. What to Do If You Experience a Bipolar Episode Remember a bipolar episode is a distinct period of time when specific symptoms are present that, taken together, classify a persons mood as manic, hypomanic, or depressive. If you are concerned you are experiencing symptoms of a bipolar episode, please seek care from a mental health professional. The article was titled à ¢Ã¢â ¬ÃÅ"Why Chinese Mothers are Superiorà ¢Ã¢â ¬ as a way of advocating for the strict way of parenting known as the tiger parenting that is commonplace in Asian c ountries. Successive studies that on parenting had also proved that Asian and Western parenting are distinctly different although they both aim at the same goal; the success of a child. In particular, the Stanford research has proven that although the two approaches are different, all of them have sufficient capability of being effective in the long run.The study noted that unlike the Western children who find motivation from within themselves, their Asian counterparts are pushed by their parents to success. The purpose of this research paper will be to prove the fact that unlike the belief that Tiger parenting produces academically sharp students, it does more harm to them as there cannot stand on their own without the pressure from parents (Chua 23). In addition, the Western parenting may be considered as a too permissive style of parenting but it eventually produces individuals who balance the academics, the society, and their own aspects of living such as self-confidence.One fun damental aspect of this debate is that the cultural variation of people should not be taken as weakness on the other side. Every society has its own way of motivating its members into success and hence, no ideal culture can apply in all scenarios of children motivation. Children uniquely align themselves with the beliefs and norms of their society such that they strive to achieve what is considering the best in their respective cultural context. For instance, the European American parents prefer giving their children the appropriate advice on how they can take charge of own success paths. On the contrary, the Asian parents are always arm-twisting their children into success. They donà ¢Ã¢â ¬t give children a chance to learn from their own mistakes, which is one of the best approaches to learning. The dependence on parents on matters that require individual intuition is so high in Asian families in comparison to Western ones.Asian parents encourage interdependence in their childre n instead of independence. What that implies is that the children cannot make their individual decisions without incorporating the views of those who are close to them such as a mother, father, or siblings. Superficially, this may be seen as a good way of growing up into a responsible and caring individual. However, one naggin... Embracing his role as a Sophist in Athenian society, Thrasymachus sets out to aggressively dispute Socratesââ¬â¢ opinion that justice is a beneficial and valuable aspect of life and the ideal society. Throughout the course of the dialogue, Thrasymachus formulates three major assertions regarding justice. These claims include his opinion that ââ¬Å"justice is nothing other than the advantage of the stronger,â⬠ââ¬Å"it is just to obey the rulers,â⬠and ââ¬Å"justice is really the good of another [â⬠¦] and harmful to the one who obeys and serves.â⬠Socratesâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Furthermore, justice in its true form cannot be used solely for the advantage of the stronger without the masses acknowledging the injustices being imposed upon them, as Thrasymachus suggests is the case. For justice is one of the many characteristics of morality, which is considered to be intrinsic based on an inner conviction.7 Therefore, if the many were acting against said inner conviction wholly for the benefit of the stronger, would they not experience a natural feeling of injustice? This argument alike can be used to refute another of Thrasymachusââ¬â¢ primary claims that ââ¬Å"justice is really the good of another [â⬠¦] and harmful to the one who obeys and serves.â⬠3 In addition to his definition, Thrasymachus argues the value of justice as a human or societal characteristic, claiming that injustice is far more beneficial to the individual. Thrasymachus asserts that tyranny: makes the doer of injustice happiest and the sufferers of it, who are unwilling to do injustice, most wretched.[â⬠¦] injustice, if it is on a large enough scale, is stronger, freer, and more masterly than justice.5 To decide whether an unjust man finds more happiness than a just man does, one must understand the true meaning of the word. The purpose of this paper is to look at the correlation between the Big 5 theory and academic motivation and performance, a very important area in our culture. This paper first looks at the history of the theory and lays out descriptions of the 5 factors within the theory; it then continues with three sections that show research and findings from elementary school to secondary school, post-secondary, and a mix of the two. It is by understanding the three forms does one understand what is truly good about sex as according to Prussââ¬â¢s nature of love argument. As mentioned, the desire for union is the most important in relation to what is good about sex and, once the love is established, there are specific characteristics to what is it that makes sex good. When asked what makes sex good, there are various responses such as the pleasure, the psychological or emotional connection made between two beings, the biological or physical unity and the need for reproduction. However, following Prussââ¬â¢s argument only one responseââ¬âthe biological or physical unityââ¬âis what makes sex good; the ââ¬Å"illusion of sexâ⬠is further explained. From the very beginning, until present time, teaching has been around. The book of Genesis speaks of God walking and talking with Adam in The Garden of Eden, God was teaching Adam. I will be proud to, one day, be a part of this great calling. There are many reasons why I want to be a teacher. Starting with the most important, I want to influence children positively with Christian perspectives that will help them achieve satisfaction in their life. I also would like the opportunity to coach. I believe coaches have more influence on children than teachers. I think this is true because sports are something that the child participates in because he/she chooses. For that reason, coaches are usually well respected by their athletes. Another reason I want to teach is for the opportunity to meet people. Teachers and coaches both have a great influence on childrenââ¬â¢s lives. I want to be a positive influence while helping prepare children for their future role in society. My father was a teacher and coach for many years and I am amazed at the lives he has touched. His students love him, even after not seeing him for years they remember the little sayings and quirks he said in the classroom. My father cared about the students, and he had a respect and trust for them all. Sometimes they didnââ¬â¢t deserve such trust, but I think the trust he put in them caused them to want to live up to his expectations. If I can be half the teacher that he was, I will consider myself a success. In addition, I want to be a teacher that instills Christian principles in all my students. I plan on being a lifetime learner by attending seminars and conferences, staying abreast of new topics by reading professional journals, and watching and learning from other teachers. I have already started this process, because my friend, who recently graduated and is now teaching, told me that there is much that teachers must know that isnââ¬â¢t taught to us in college. I probe his mind, and read articles on the internet, look at teaching web sites, and I am always thinking of affective ways that I can teach people. I know that children learn in many different ways. Observing, experimenting, reading, and listening are a few of those many ways. I have learned that people learn best when the information is something that they are interested in. I am going to strive to make every lesson fun, and applicable to my students. I favor using many methods to teach, including lecturing, cooperative learning, project based instruction, and ââ¬Å"hands-onâ⬠activities. I want the classroom to be a place that the students enjoy, not a boring place. I believe that every child has an innate hunger for learning and becoming successful. If I can harness their craving and aim it in the right direction, I believe I will be successful in helping these students achieve what they are looking for in life. Many people think that teachers are supposed to pass knowledge on to the next generation. This is great, but I intend to go further. I want to instill wisdom rather than just knowledge. Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge. A student that understands formulas and tables can make it in this world, but I am hoping to give them the ability to apply what they know to every aspect of their life. They will make meaningful, thought out, and rational decisions in every area of their life. Education is a tool in which the things that have been discovered, proven, studied, and even theorized are passed on to the next group of people that will live on this earth. If we do not pass this on effectively, information can be lost forever and peoplesââ¬â¢ lives will have been wasted. Education is also a way in which we prepare ourselves to compete with the economies and industries of other countries. Itââ¬â¢s what keeps the United States a world power, if our schooling becomes lacking then our nation will become lacking as well. .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 , .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 .postImageUrl , .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 , .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192:hover , .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192:visited , .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192:active { border:0!important; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192:active , .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192 .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u8125ed0b5f5e5583f570bfe1e2cdd192:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: A Letter To Cuba EssayI understand that it is my responsibility to teach all my students no matter whether they are fast, slow, gifted, or disabled. I must teach in a way that I can stimulate learning for everyone at the same time. I believe I can achieve this goal using a variety of teaching techniques and procedures simultaneously. The world is ever changing, therefore, I think that classroom material should be constantly changing also. The basics are an important foundation on which to start, including reading, writing, and arithmetic. Later on in school though, our students need to be taught the ability to keep up with the times. I do not advocate teaching specific skills, because they can certainly become obsolete very quickly. I think it is more important to teach the students how to teach themselves by using organization skills, researching abilities, and just giving them the love for wisdom that keeps them learning throughout their life. My philosophy is an eclectic type using an essentialist basis with a progressive structure. I will also incorporate perennialism and existentialism. For instance, I think that a knowledge of who one is, and why one is here has an important place in education. I also believe behaviorism is a big part of how we all learn, but it shouldnââ¬â¢t be the only philosophy used in the classroom. If it were, we would be on the same level with animals. I have had experiences with great and terrible teachers and coaches. I believe that the times I have spent with them will help guide me in my quest of becoming a great teacher. I know that I never want to be like some of these less effective teachers. I have observed what it takes to make an effective teacher effective and an ineffective teacher ineffective. I want to use what I have learned to influence the lives that may be influencing my children and grandchildren. I know that if Iââ¬â¢m not excited about teaching, there is no way I can get my students excited about learning. My specialization of teaching is Health and Physical Education. I know that this is important now more than ever because the health of the United States people is declining fast. This is due, in part, to all the new technologies we have, which makes everything easier, e.g. children playing video games instead of sports, people sitting at computers for countless hours, and even the advances in transportation. An unhealthy person is actually impaired. They cannot perform the activities that a healthy person can perform easily. This hinders their way of living and causes much pain, discomfort, and even death. I want to help be a part of a more health conscience future for our young people. I am an advocate of school vouchers due mostly to the fact that I would like to teach in a private school. I attended a private Christian school for my entire schooling, and so did my 4 brothers. My parents paid for our tuition, then, by paying taxes, paid for other peopleââ¬â¢s children to go to school also. I do not think that is fair, therefore, I plan on supporting the voucher system for all the United States. My decision to become a teacher was a major crossroads in my life. It took me a long time to decide which way to go, and now I feel great about the decision I have made. I have thought and prayed, and now I KNOW that this is what I want to do. I donââ¬â¢t want to be another teacher that does the same old thing. I want to be the best teacher that my students ever have. I want to be remembered by them and hopefully have a great influence in helping develop successful, happy adults. I understand the amazing responsibility and pressure that is placed on teachers and I am prepared to work hard and take on this great challenge of shaping our future generations. When all my years of training, all the blood, sweat, and tears of running, aiming, skills training, and hand to hand combat had finally been put to the test. My first kill. It wasnââ¬â¢t a proud moment but it was one on necessity and choice that Iââ¬â¢ve played over and over again and I still get the same result. It would have gone exactly the same. September 21st 1999, 1327 Zulu time. We were flying over Almaty, Kazakhstan. The rattling of the POS tin can they call an airplane was really making me queasy. ââ¬ËMan less than an hour before we land. Itââ¬â¢s not coming soon enough. ââ¬â¢ I thought. Then came the dreaded command that started the chain of events that changed my life forever. ââ¬Å"AAG! 9 oââ¬â¢clock. I repeat AAG! 9 oââ¬â¢clock! â⬠Yelled our Staff Sgt, ââ¬Å"You know the drill, men. Time to grow wings! â⬠Now to you non-military personnel, an AAG is an anti-aircraft gun. Now it doesnââ¬â¢t take a rocket scientist to realize, hey weââ¬â¢re in an aircraft. You see where this is going. Time to grow wings means, weââ¬â¢re jumping off this plane. This might be fine and dandy for a para-trooping unit. We were not a para-trooping unit. Now most of our unit has had parachuting training, well all except one, me. Now in my defense I had been busy with officer training so really hadnââ¬â¢t had much time. I now wish I had made time. So as weââ¬â¢re being shoveled out of the plane, thereââ¬â¢s AAG blasts going off all around us. Then came my turn where I never thought you could get a jumping lesson in 30 seconds. Well it was enough for me. Out I went. Exciting, exhilarating, and scary as hell, were the first three things that came to mind. Now Iââ¬â¢m no meteorologist but there are these invisible paths the air flows called vectors and if you donââ¬â¢t know what youââ¬â¢re doing you can be rerouted from you initial path. This is how I ended up drifting away from my unit. I pulled my chute once I realized this and landed about half a click north of my click. I landed in a courtyard and did the most natural instinct that could come to mind. I ran. Now the guys manning these AAGââ¬â¢s also had troops on foot and they figured out real quick where I was, and that I probably would make a real nice hostage. A US officer is a gold bar waiting to be snatched. I went for high ground as I checked my GPS tracker looking for my unit. Once on the roof of a nearby building, I began running south from rooftop to rooftop looking for a good place to either regroup or stand my ground in case of a firefight. I didnââ¬â¢t know how far behind me the enemy was but I felt them breathing down my neck, so to speak. I looked ahead on my route and noticed a 25ââ¬â¢foot gap between me and the next building and it was a floor shorter than the building I was on. I had 10 steps to make a choice. Ten, I detach my pack. Nine, off goes my helmet. Eight, I increase my speed. Six, five, four, ââ¬ËThis isnââ¬â¢t going to end wellââ¬â¢, Three, I rear up, two, oneâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ ¦I leapt. For a second I thought this is it. But then realized Iââ¬â¢m going to clear it, Iââ¬â¢m actually going to clear it. I did, right into a window. I rolled twice and started to catch my bearing and get up when I felt a searing pain in my back. I was being tackled. I looked up while on my back to a sweaty, angry look I recognized all too well, the look of a man wanting to kill me. I donââ¬â¢t know where he came from or who he was but I knew these were things I would have to worry about later. For now I have to stay alive. I felt his arm pressing into my throat and damn it hurt. I brought my right fist up and into his temple. It jeered him enough to release the choke. He reached back with the same arm and pulled something out from what looked like his back pocket, a knife. As soon as I realized what it was it was already headed at my face. I took both arms and grabbed for the wrist of the armed hand. He twisted his hand and sliced at my left forearm, I lost grip only with that hand for a slight second, jabbed him in the ribs giving me enough time to re-grip. He was trying to put all his weight into the armed hand and still hold me down while I kept my eyes and both hands focused on the knife filled hand and wrist. I was holding up until the pain from the slice began to overwhelm me and I felt woozy. I felt like this was it, I am going to lose my grip and this knife was about to go into my face. I quickly thought of everything that would follow and everything that has happened to me up to that point in an instance. Then as if a blessing from God, the door burst open and I redirected my focus to the door. So did he, which was his mistake. I quick glanced back at him and noticed two things. His eyes were off of me and his push weakened just for a second. The only second I needed. I pivoted my upper half to my right and pulled his arm towards where my head once was, jamming the knife into the hardwood floor. I brought my right elbow into his head and he toppled over. I reached for my side arm, rolled away, up on to one side, aimed and fired twice. My pistol and eyes both rose up and to the left to the doorway and fired three more times. Both enemies, cancelled. I took what seemed like an eternity to curse, catch my breath and regroup myself. I stood up and realized the fight wasnââ¬â¢t over. I still had to make it to my unit. I made my way through the apartment I earlier crashed into, out into the hallway and back up to the roof. I noticed insurgents on the rooftop directly behind me making half-ass shots at me. I leapt to the next rooftop, made cover behind a chimney, pulled my pistol took two deep breaths andâ⬠¦.. Well youââ¬â¢ll just have to wait for next time for that one. You ask yourself what I would do if I were in a life and death situation. Did it turn out like I thought? Nothing like it. Because when it really happens you go into autopilot. It all happened so quickly, but when I relive it in the nightmares that haunt me to this day, it seems like forever. It wasnââ¬â¢t a cool thing to do it, but was it necessary for my survival? Yes. If I could do it all over again, I would have taken the para-trooping courses. Citing a website in a research paper is also important for any type of online publication and is an essential part of the process. There are two main reasons for citing a website. The first is to give other researchers information about the website (i.e.citation), and the second is to make it easier for students to cite the website in their own research papers. The first way that you can cite a website is to write the abstract or introduction of your paper. You need to be careful to avoid plagiarism when writing the abstract as this is where most other papers are written, so you need to keep it brief. It should include a title for the abstract and give an overview of the paper. You can then talk about the particular aspects of the paper that you found interesting and then talk about how your interest in the topic was guided by this.Next, you will need to put in a reference. You can use an attached table of contents, but in general it's best to use the URL of the site (a regular address is preferable). For more information on which format to use, refer to the resource box that is included with each paper. If there is a link at the bottom of the page to your resource box, you should use this to get your resource information (this is the text after '?Ref=@alturl').Finally, you need to put in the citation. The whole point of writing a paper like this is to get other people to cite your work. This works best if you use the resource box at the bottom of the page to put in your citation. Once again, this is the text after '?Ref=@alturl'?Using this method, you will be able to give your own students a link that they can use to look up other sources for more information. You should not use this method of citing a website in a research paper for every source you include, but it is useful for a very large number of different sources.Using a resource box for this purpose is similar to including a page number in your paper. The only difference is that the latter is going to be used to link to another page within the paper, and therefore does not have to come immediately before the paper itself. In order to make sure that your paper is properly cited, you should cite every source that you include in a research paper as this ensures that other researchers will find the information that they need and can use it to learn about your topic. Adolf Hiter was the son of a middle-class provincial customs officer in Braunau-am-Inn, which was then called the Austro-Hungarian Empire. A very bright young lad he was growing up to be. He was highly interested in literature about war and the cowboys Indians. Although he was very brilliant and great in school, his childhood was filled with tragedy, as he lost 4 siblings including his closest brother Edmund when he was just 10 years old. He then lost his dad when he was 14. The biggest tragedy he faced was the loss of his mother at age 18. He had a very close relationship with her and it was said that his doctor had never seen someone grieve so hard over a loved one. Some historians believe these factors may have contributed to Hitlerââ¬â¢s aggression later in life. He became fascinated by war at an early age when he found a picture book among his fatherââ¬â¢s belongings. He had an intense passion for architecture and painting and he wanted to attend the Academy of Fine Art in Vienna, but he could never pass the art exam. The deaths of his siblings and his mom were causing him to slack off in school. He tried once again to take the exam but still failed. After a second rejection, Hitler lived on the streets in poverty and made money for food by selling his paintings until the outbreak of World War I in 1914. He joined the military and was injured a few times but he was in love with the politics and sticking up for his country so he always made it back on the battlefield. After the loss of World War 1, he started gaining power by using the countries downfalls as opportunity. He started to gain this power legitimately during the economic depression that was humiliating Germany after the loss of World War 1. The American stock market crash cause d America to call in its foreign debts and the amount that Germany owed America made their currency lose tremendous value. This caused military cut backs that crippled Germanyââ¬â¢s army. Hitler began working as a spy for the military and providing important surveillance. His war service began to teach him the power of propaganda. ââ¬Å"He saw how British propaganda destroyed German morale and paved the way for Germanyââ¬â¢s surrender. In 1919, while supposedly spying on extremist political activity for the army, he actually joined a tiny group, which he swiftly renamed the National Socialist German Workersââ¬â¢ Party (NSDAP).â⬠(Mà ¼ller-Hill, Benno) In 1923 during his rise of power, he chose to revolt against the government because he felt it was being weak and the cause of the loss of World War 1 was because communist and Jews were spreading propaganda of peace and anti-war. He was imprisoned for a year for treason. Hitler was a very great orator and he would adju st his unique rhetorical style as he was speaking to large crowds to feel them out and find what he could use to help them bond to his own agenda. ââ¬Å"He knew how to seek out and express the hidden feelings of his audience, hammering away at the idea of the uniqueness of the German people and stressing the way in which their destiny had been betrayed by their leaders and was now threatened by the two great evils of Communism and a Jewish world conspiracy.â⬠(Cull) He was continuing to spread his image and grow his power. He was really starting to gain traction on persuading a whole country into following him in his racist beliefs. He was such a great speaker and he knew the right ways to convince large crowds that he had their best interests at heart. During his imprisonment, Hitler wrote a book he titled,à Mein Kampfà (ââ¬Å"My Struggleâ⬠), where he laid out his plans for the future and his views on the world and society. He planned to become a powerful man completely legally and playing by the rules. He was good at appealing to the goals of other nationalist and right-wing parties, so the Nazi Party was able to gain most control of the German parliament. In January 1933, German conservatives voted him into the government as chancellor because the heads of the government thought that would cripple him and give them more control of him but they were wrong. When a building was burned down and the communists were blamed, Hitler had the Enabling Act passed on March 23, 1933, which gave him absolute power to make his own laws, destroying democracy in Germany and making the Nazi party the only party. Either you agreed with them or you died. ââ¬Å"Propaganda was at the heart of Hitlerââ¬â¢s state, whose embodiment was in the person of Hitler himself. The Nazi Party was organized according to the ââ¬Å"leadership principleâ⬠, with every man obeying his appointed commander, and Hitler was the leader of all Germany.â⬠(Cull) On August 2, 1934 Hindenburg died, and Hitlerââ¬â¢s reign began. He led campaigns to commit mass genocide on anyone who opposed him, and anyone who was considered inferior to the Aryan race. ââ¬Å"Adolf Hitler believed that Jews were a parasitic subhuman race that was allied with international communism to destroy German civilization. He personally blamed Jews for the German defeat in World War I.â⬠(Beorn) However, inà Mein Kampf, Hitler admitted to his hatred for the Jews and he stated that he believed they were inferior and should not be allowed in Europe. Some historians would argue that this did not mean he wanted to kill them all, he just wanted to deport them out of Europe. The stance is up for interpretation but we can only go off of what actually occurred. He also held racist views against Slavs, Roma, homosexuals, socialists, unions, and religious leaders who opposed them. The pressure against these groups of people was inevitable and he closed down their businesses and even revoked their citizenship. ââ¬Å"It is a matter of some historical debate whether Hitler initially intended to murder the Jews or simply to deport them out of Europe. Among histori ans, these viewpoints are represented by theà internationalists, who see a plan to exterminate Jews existing from the beginning, and theà functionalists, who argue that Nazi Jewish policy experienced a cumulative radicalization, which ultimately led to genocide.â⬠(Beorn) During Hitlerââ¬â¢s reign, there was a major focus on improving the Aryan race along with extinguishing others. Many of the Nazis were against smoking, drinking, and eating meat. Their racial purity was heavily entangled in their racial health. They conducted surveys and ran different tests and experiments to assess the causes of cancer and to eliminate it from their society. The government concentrated on public health measures for prevention of cancer and the spread of other disease among the Aryan race. ââ¬Å"None of these policies aimed to improve the health of society as a whole; rather, they were part of a broad campaign to improve the vigor of the Aryan race.â⬠(Hamblin) They wanted to learn how much stress, pain, and other factors the human body could handle. They wanted to eliminate people they considered unworthy of life and that would contaminate the Aryan blood. One of the evil experiments that was performed by the Nazis was the salt water experiment. Patients we re forced to only drink salt water to see how long they could live and what would happen. What they learned was that the sodium in the water would make a person pee more often than they had water because the body would be trying to get rid of all the excess salt. This caused dehydration that lead to muscle cramps and dry mouth. The heart rate would increase to compensate for the fluid loss and the blood vessels constricted to monitor proper blood pressure to vital organs. Organ failure still resulted, and eventually comas led to death in 12 days or less. Other heinous experiments include cold weather testing, human altitude testing, testing between twins, and live bone transplants with no anesthesia. Six million Jews and overall 17 million other people considered inferior to the Aryan race were killed in gas chambers and human experiments lead by Hitlerââ¬â¢s followers. These experiments were horrific and evil, and those scientists completely lacked morality or ethics when it cam e to performing experiments on the Jews. There are people that will still claim that we learned so much from the experiments and they were worth the sacrifices. Do you think if you were Aryan and you reaped the benefits of Hitlerââ¬â¢s views and reign, would you see him as a monster or a savior? Everyone else sees him as a monster because we are on the outside looking in, but he probably didnââ¬â¢t think he was doing anything wrong because he wanted to do what was best for his country. Our monsters are those different than us. Hitler was a cultural body monster. This ties him to the first thesis in Jeffrey Jerome Cohens ââ¬Å"Monster Culture.â⬠He was a highly decorated soldier and an aggressive representation of what he stood for. He chose to represent something greater than himself and he knew how to be the unheard voice of all his listeners. His sinister approach of using rhetoric to persuade the masses to join in on his hatred toward others was nothing less than evil art. He was a wise strong man until it was his time to stare the opposite of victory directly in the eyes. He chose to take his own life instead of facing his im minent defeat. His story left a monstrous scar on world history forever. Beorn, Waitman W. Hitler, Adolf 1889ââ¬â1945.à Encyclopedia of Race and Racism, edited by Patrick L. This is actually one of the biggest reasons I choose to focus on writing and learning how to edit.I was working with a student who wanted to learn more about her writing as she worked with the writers at a website.
