Impact of a Journey

The impact of a journey is not simply bidding to the physical effects on the individual, but more significantly the psychological effects. It is Corals delusion that has led her to be very perceptive. Her yearning in Act 1 scene 3 is almost palpable. She is about to break. Her silence in scene 3 now takes on a more disturbing meaning. Corals attached important scene is Act 3 scene 1. In this scene, she meets Leonie and forces herself into the situation. She is horrendous to show normality when in actual fact, she comes away as desperate and psychotic. Her persistent and meddling questioning makes Leonie find out as if she is in danger. This in fact is symptomatic of Corals neurotic demeanour/ condition. In this scene, Coral is desperate to seem normal to fire to Rick that she has passed her grief and has go past her pain. Act 4 scene 1 is possibly the best representation of the psychological journey be ing more important than the physical journey! .
